A Guided Journey of Spiritual Formation into the Architecture of the Human Being and Mechanics of Consciousness through the Wisdom of Kabbalah and Chassidus.
What does it mean to truly Understand Yourself?
Through the Wisdom of Kabbalah and Chassidus, we explore the Inner Architecture through which we Think, Perceive, Desire, Feel, React, Relate, Connect, and choose.
This Journey is guided by 4 Essential Questions:
-
Understanding the Human Being and The Mechanics of Consciousness ...
Kabbalah and Chassidus don't begin with the assumption that a person is merely their thoughts, emotions, personality, biography, or body.
The human being is understood through soul, faculties, body, consciousness, desire, and relationship with the Divine.
In Tanya, the soul's ten faculties are described through the framework of Chochmah, Binah, Da'at and the seven Middot, corresponding to the ten Sefirot.
And this gives us something extremely important for Revelation:
You are not simply what you experience.
There is a distinction between:
the soul
the faculties of the soul
the thoughts arising through those faculties
the emotions and desires being experienced
the actions through which they become expressed.
Tanya further describes thought, speech, and action as the "garments" through which the soul expresses itself.
That gives us a beautiful first principle:
I am more than the contents of my consciousness.
And that's a profound beginning for self-knowledge.
-
Understanding the Movements of Consciousness and Levels...
We're studying the sequence:
Perception → Thought → Interpretation → Desire → Emotion → Reaction → Choice → Action
But through a Chassidic/Kabbalistic lens, we can make that much more sophisticated.
For example, Tanya describes the intellectual faculties as the source of the Middot; the emotional attributes emerge from Chochmah, Binah, and Da'at.
So one of the discoveries of Revelation could be:
An emotion does not simply appear in isolation. It has an inner architecture.
Something is perceived.
Something is thought.
Something is interpreted.
Something becomes meaningful.
Something is desired.
And then the emotional system moves.
This gives you an incredibly practical teaching:
Don't only ask, "What am I feeling?"
Ask:
What happened before this feeling?
And then:
What thought is sustaining this feeling?
And:
What desire is underneath this thought?
Now we're getting into Machshavah and Hirhurim.
And this is where the program can teach people to observe their inner world without immediately identifying with it.
Tanya distinguishes the soul's faculties from thought itself, describing thought as a garment through which those deeper faculties become expressed
-
Learning to recognize and understand the Life Process ...
Now we take everything we've learned and apply it to actual human experience.
This is where suffering, conflict, reactivity, confusion, desire, attachment, fear, anger, comparison, shame, resistance, and inner contradiction can enter the curriculum.
But I agree with you that suffering should not be the headline.
It's a consequence of something deeper.
The question isn't:
"How do I stop suffering?"
It's:
"What is actually happening within me?"
-
Through Awareness, Breath, Recognition, Prayer, and Wisdom, you will Gain Understanding that will support your Self-Revelation...
From Understanding to Avodah
This is where Revelation cannot remain psychology or philosophy.
Because knowledge alone doesn't transform a person.
This is where Kabbalah and Chassidus become avodah.
We move from:
Knowing → Seeing → Practicing → Refining → Embodying
This is where we bring in:
prayer
contemplation
hitbonenut
Torah study
Middot refinement
awareness
intentional action
relationship
service
accountability
daily practice
And here's something I think is essential to your philosophy:
The goal is not to become a person who never has an inner conflict.
Tanya's model of the beinoni itself is useful here: the existence of competing impulses does not mean failure. The work is learning what to do with them.
That's a radically different message from a lot of contemporary spirituality.
We're not promising:
"Become permanently peaceful."
We're teaching:
Learn to recognize what is moving within you and choose how you will serve God through it.
That's much more grounded.

Level I is a foundational journey for those who want to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the way their inner world operates through the Wisdom of Kabbalah and Chassidus.
Rather than approaching this wisdom only as a body of spiritual knowledge, we explore it as a living map of the human being.
You will begin to understand the architecture of the human being—soul, faculties, mind, emotions, desire, will, body, and the relationship between the human being and Divine Light.
From there, we explore the mechanics of consciousness: how perception, thought, desire, emotion, identification, and reaction interact; how the Middot become activated; how inner conflict develops; and how patterns within consciousness influence the way we experience ourselves, others, and reality.
Through the 8 Faculties and foundational teachings of Kabbalah and Chassidus, you will begin to recognize these movements within yourself.
The purpose is not simply to understand what Kabbalah teaches, but to develop the awareness to see the teachings operating in your own life.
The journey then moves from understanding into practice through contemplation, prayer, self-observation, character refinement, and daily integration.
You leave with a map: a deeper understanding of what you are, how you function, what moves within you, and how to begin living from greater awareness and relationship with God.
-
The journey begins with a two-day immersive experience in person, where we establish the foundational map together through deep teaching, contemplation, experiential practices, and direct exploration.
The immersion is then followed by four weeks of online integration, where we continue studying, asking questions, practicing, and bringing the wisdom into everyday life.
So the movement is:
Encounter → Understand → Observe → Practice → Embody
